HP GET-IT LAUNCHED IN EBONYI STATE.

On the 25th November 2008, the Chairman of Ebonyi State Committee on UNIDO Assisted Projects, Hon. Commissioner for Public Utilities performed the official launching of the HP GET-IT Projects in Ebonyi State. Prior to the launching the Country Representative of UNIDO, Mr. Masayoshi Matsushita paid a courtesy call to the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency Chief Martin Elechi. About 4000 unemployed youths are expected to benefit from the programme. It is a collaboration of Ebonyi State Gov and UNIDO powered by HP.

September 2008, Censirt ICT Centre successfully their accreditation. All the trainers receive excellent feedback from the Master Trainer, Claudio Cerulli in their delivery Session and met the rigorous criteria. Having subsequently submitted their post assessment reflections.
Censirt ICT Centre of Excellence has been placed as one of the growing register of certified centre.
This centre has benefitted many people to think of their work in a practical, positive and structured way

About Trainee (Student)

From the first batch among 33 Students that shows their interest only 5 of them have proved their competence and as a result they were recommended by the Trainers as certified learning Trainee.
Presently, about 150 students undergoing training, Corps Members, Civil Servants, Businessmen and women, Tertiary Students, Secondary school Students ,etc.

SALT PROJECT

March 2009, agreement signing ceremony is to be performed at Abuja between Embassy of Japan and Ebonyi state UNIDO women Salt Processors Cooperative Union for establishing of 3 Upgrade Equipment for local salt Processing. The Women are calling for more collaboration from other partners.

ABAKALIKI BIOMASS POWER PLANT
